Royal Lytham & St Annes Golf Club is in Lancashire in the north-west of England.
Lytham St Annes is 5 miles (8km) south of Blackpool, 18 miles (28km) west of Preston and is well connected by public transport. Manchester and Liverpool are around 50 miles (80km) away.

There are two apps in use at the AIG Women’s Open. The AIG Women's Open app and the AIG WO Tickets app.
The AIG Women’s Open App
The AIG Women's Open app has a live scoring leaderboard, with up to date, hole-by-hole scoring from each round. You can customise how your leader board looks, and receive notifications based on your preferences. You can also view pop-ups of every player's full scorecard, all live and within the app.
You can download it from the App Store or Google Play.
The AIG WO Tickets App
Tickets for the AIG Women’s Open will be delivered digitally via the AIG WO Tickets App. The AIG WO Tickets App provides a secure means to manage and transfer your tickets. More information about the AIG Women’s Open Tickets app can be found here.

Re-admission will be permitted at the AIG Women’s Open. Ticket holders will be required to present the following on re-entry: (i) a ticket valid for that day’s play; and (ii) an official, untampered, re-entry wristband that must be collected from the exit gate when initially leaving the AIG Women’s Open.

Foodies will be in their element at the AIG Women's Open thanks to tasty offerings from a range of exciting, passionate and diverse street food traders.
Free water refilling stations will be available across the AIG Women’s Open with reusable stainless steel water bottles available for purchase. Alternatively, please bring your own from home.
The AIG Women’s Open will be operated as a cashless site and only credit or debit cards can be used to purchase food and drink.
The AIG Women’s Open Shop will feature a range of functional and progressive adidas golf apparel and popular souvenirs. The AIG Women’s Open will be operated as a cashless site and only credit or debit cards can be used to purchase goods.
The Shop is open from 8am until 8pm (or until the shelves are empty!) every day of the Championship.

Prohibited Items
1. Steps, stepladders, crates or other items that may be used to stand on;
2. Folding chairs of any description (single stem shooting sticks are permitted);
3. Bicycles (these can be secured in the designated cycle parking areas);
4. Oversized Bags (please see restrictions within FAQs);
5. Fireworks or any pyrotechnic device;
6. Remote drones or similar radio controlled equipment;
7. ‘Selfie-sticks’ and periscope devices;
8. Noise making equipment of any type;
9. Offensive weapons or other items where possession may be a criminal offence;
10. Alcohol and containers suspected of containing alcohol;
11. Glass bottles and any other glass drinking vessels;
12. Dogs other than service dogs (all dogs are prohibited from areas near play);
13. Photography - Video recording is prohibited at all times. No flash photography is allowed. No professional cameras or video cameras or any photographic equipment used for commercial purposes will be permitted at the Event (The R&A will retain copyright over the reproduction of any images). 14. Any other item that may represent a threat to the safety of any other person, items that breach copyright, unauthorised merchandise, banners, posters and other articles without the specific written consent of The R&A.
