Born in Melrose, Scotland, Karis Davidson moved to Australia’s Gold Coast with her family when she was nine and represents her adopted homeland.

She has been on the LPGA Tour since 2022 and will make her second AIG Women’s Open appearance at Royal Lytham & St Annes after making her debut at Royal Porthcawl in 2025.

The 27-year-old claimed her first professional win in January 2022 at the WPGA Melbourne International – finishing two strokes clear of Breanna Gill on seven-under.

Karis was twice a runner-up at the Women’s Victorian Open, behind Minjee Lee in 2018 and Hannah Green four years later.

Karis recorded her best-ever major finish of T12 at the 2026 KPMG Women’s PGA Championship in June, having finished T22 at the US Women’s Open a few weeks prior.
