Lauren Coughlin won her first LPGA Tour title when she triumphed in the CPKC Women's Open in July 2024, finishing two shots clear of Mao Saigo at Earl Grey Golf Club in Calgary.
The American quickly followed up this win with glory in the ISPS Handa Scottish Open less than a month later.
Lauren enjoyed a solid major season in 2024, finishing fourth at the Amundi Evian Championship and T3 at the Chevron.
She has missed the cut in three of her four major appearances in 2025 but did finish T18 at the Chevron.
While at Hickory High School in Virginia, Coughlin became the first girl to play on the boys’ team all four years.
She gained a degree in psychology at the University of Virginia and married the university’s American Football player John Pond after he proposed during an awards ceremony.
