Lindy Duncan was part of a five-way play-off at the 2025 Chevron Championship, which was won by Mao Saigo when she birdied the first extra hole.

That was Lindy’s best performance in a major although she has been a consistent performer on the LPGA Tour for the best part of a decade.

Royal Porthcawl was her sixth AIG Women’s Open appearance and her first since 2022. She earned her place at the Championship's 50th edition at Royal Lytham & St Annes in 2026 after finishing in the top 35 of the 2025 LPGA Final CME Points List.
