Eri Okayama

Eri Okayama booked her place at Royal Porthcawl courtesy of her runner-up finish in the Suntory Ladies Open in June.

The 29-year-old finished on 15-under-par, just one stroke behind Sayaka Takahashi.

Eri made a scintillating start at Porthcawl, recovering from a bogey at the 1st to land six birdies and share the lead with compatriot Rio Takeda after round one.

She featured in the US Women’s Open in 2020, finishing a respectable T13, just eight strokes behind the winner, A Lim Kim.
