Yealimi Noh

Yealimi Noh led after round three and eventually finished third at the 2026 AIG Women's Open at Royal Lytham & St Annes.

The American opened with a four-under 67 before rounds of 70 and 69 handed her a first 54-hole lead in a major.

Although she was unable to convert – finishing one shot outside of a play-off between Esther Henseleit and eventual Champion Shiho Kuwaki – it was her joint-best performance in one of golf's main events, equalling her third-place finish at the Amundi Evian Championship in 2021.

Yealimi enjoyed a breakthrough year on the LPGA Tour in 2025 and claimed her maiden victory at the Founders Cup. She also managed her best results in both the US Women's Open and KPMG Women's PGA Championship, finishing T14 and T12 respectively.

She has appeared at two Solheim Cups, in 2021 and 2026.

In 2021, aged 20, she was the youngest player on either side and enjoyed a fourball win alongside fellow debutant Mina Harigae before beating Mel Reid in the singles on the final hole.

Yealimi was also part of the victorious American sides at the 2017 Junior Solheim Cup and 2018 Junior Ryder Cup, and in her first season on the LPGA Tour she qualified for the 2019 Cambia Portland Classic, finishing runner-up to Hannah Green.
